Black Cons?
Are Black Americans truly ideologically liberal - or are they only in it for the Gubernment cheese?
African-Americans are more likely to describe their political ideology as conservative (32%) or moderate (36%) than as liberal (23%)Turns out that Blacks are actually religiously/politically more conservative than Americans as a whole. As such, they also oppose abortion, homosexuality and gay marriage moreso than the average American.
49% of African-Americans favor keeping abortion legal in most or all cases, while 44% want abortion to be illegal in most or all cases. These figures are similar to those seen among the public as a whole (51% vs. 42%)
more than half (51%) of African-Americans who attend religious services at least once a week think that abortion should be illegal
four-in-ten African-Americans (41%) think that homosexuality should be accepted by society, while 46% say that homosexuality should be discouraged. By contrast, among the public overall, those who say that homosexuality should be accepted outnumber those who say it should be discouraged (50% to 40%)
nearly two-thirds of African-Americans (64%) say they oppose allowing gays and lesbians to marry legally, a significantly higher level of opposition than among whites (51%).
Most African-Americans across all major religious traditions, including those who are unaffiliated, prefer a bigger government that provides more services to a smaller government providing fewer services. Significantly more African-Americans (70%) report that they prefer bigger government compared with the total population (46%), who are much more divided on the issue (43% prefer smaller government). And nearly eight-in-ten (79%) African-Americans say the government should do more to help the needy, even if it means going deeper into debt
Yet they are all overwhelmingly Democrat primarily out of racist ignorance and because they favor more welfare...even if it means going into debt.
Well daymmm..! I guess we can see where this country is headed now! :o

If you ask your average screeching GLAAD activist I'm sure they'll tell you how
the evil White / Male / Straight / Christian phalisocracy fosters "hate speech" against homos resulting in a "concentration camp mentality" among Batty Riders making existence in Amerikkka a living hell where Hitlerian conservatives frown upon their gay-homo-asspounding but are really just queermo's themselves.
This is a well and good, but the fact that eludes gays is that while life may not be a bottle of KY for them here, it could be a lot worse:
•A poll in Kenya last year showed that 96% of respondents viewed homosexuality as being against their beliefs. Punishments range from a few years in prison to death.
•Don't get me started on Jamaica mon. If you are a fag in Jamaica chances are you are being chased down by a mob right now and are about to die. Good luck with that.
•In Nigeria Homosexuality is outlawed in the Nigerian penal code and in Muslim law. In the dozen northern states under Islamic Sharia law it is punishable by death by stoning As of March 2006, press reports say that more than a dozen people have been sentenced to death by stoning since 2000. In the civil penal code, it can carry up to a 14-year prison sentence.
•Somalia - death.
•Sudan - death.
•Uganda takes it easy on you - life.
Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Bill (often called the "Kill the Gays bill" in the media) is a legislative proposal that would broaden the criminalisation of same-sex relations by dividing homosexual behavior into two categories: "aggravated homosexuality", in which an offender would receive the death penalty, or "the offense of homosexuality" in which an offender would receive life imprisonment.
Most of Africa's 54 nations ban homosexuality, so President Obama's promotion of gay rights as a human right draws quick ire from African governments.
“Homosexuality here is taboo, it’s something anathema to Africans, and I can say that this idea of Clinton’s, of Obama’s, is something that will be seen as abhorrent in every country on the continent that I can think of.”
Almost all of Africa’s 54 nations ban homosexuality. Uganda drew opprobrium from across the West last year when a bill was tabled in parliament that would have imposed the death penalty for what was termed “aggravated homosexuality.”
in Kenya, influential church leaders immediately condemned the idea that lesbian, gay, and transgender people deserved extra support to achieve equal rights.
“We don’t believe in advancing the rights of gays,” said Oliver Kisaka, deputy general secretary of the National Council of Churches of Kenya.
“God did not make a mistake; [being gay] is that person’s own perception. Those who live as gays need help to live right and we should not be supporting them to live in a wrong reality.
“Society should reach out to gays and transgender people to help them out of their situation.
